We all have the right to make our own decisions. Dementia does not remove a person's right to make their own decisions. This right can create stress for family caregivers who want to keep their loved one safe. Scott Bartlett provides several great insights about dealing with this tension that is so common among family members caring for a loved one with dementia.

Scott is the lead Ombudsman for the Area Agency on Aging and is nationally and regionally recognized for his work as an Ombudsman.
